Professional Podcast Recording Made Simple

Studio hours are designed to be used consecutively within a scheduled production session. Splitting hours into multiple sessions is available upon request and availability. If additional studio time is needed outside of the originally scheduled date and time, additional bookings will be charged at the current hourly studio rate and may require a two-hour minimum.

Sessions that extend beyond the reserved time slot will be billed separately at the hourly rate, based on studio and staff availability. Additional time cannot be guaranteed if another session is scheduled immediately afterward. Your scheduled session time includes all setup, recording, file transfer, and wrap-up time. Clients are responsible for ending their session within the reserved time window.

A 48-hour cancellation notice is requested. No-shows count as a used session. We do not offer refunds for cancellations, no-shows, or unused hours. Late arrivals do not extend the booked time slot. Rescheduling will be based on the next available time slot.

If you are renting The Pod Life studio and equipment only and plan to edit your own content, you are responsible for providing your own external storage device. Please bring a compatible USB-C external SSD with enough available storage for your recording session. Footage will be recorded directly to your hard drive. You will be responsible for storing, backing up, and managing your files after leaving the studio. The Pod Life is not responsible for lost footage due to client-provided storage failure, insufficient storage space, corrupted drives, or files once they have been transferred.

If you hire The Pod Life for editing or post-production services, you do not need to provide a hard drive. We will manage your project files during the editing process and deliver your finished content through Frame.io.Completed projects are available for download for 30 days after final delivery. After this period, project files, footage, and completed videos may be permanently removed from our storage systems. The Pod Life does not provide long-term archiving or backup services, and clients are responsible for downloading and securely storing their completed files.

Final edited projects include delivery of completed videos only. Raw footage is not included with standard edited project delivery. If you would like a copy of your raw footage, please provide a compatible external SSD before your recording session. We will transfer the available raw files to your drive, which can be picked up once your project t is complete. Raw footage requests must be made before the project files are removed from our storage system. Once files have been deleted, they cannot be recovered.

Content/File Liability: Clients are responsible for providing and maintaining their own external storage devices. While reasonable care is taken during recording and transfer, Lockwood Studios is not liable for file corruption, storage failures, accidental deletion, or technical malfunctions beyond its reasonable control. Clients are encouraged to maintain duplicate backups of all media files immediately following their session.

Guests our welcome. Children must be supervised at all times. Animals are not permitted without pre-approval. Clients assume responsibility for themselves, their guests, and their personal property while on the premises. Clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the studio space and equipment.
